I replied, "Yes, I wonder what is going on?"
Very quietly and solemnly James said,
"Maybe someone was being too loud in the library and they called the cops."
Maybe that's a good lesson for a four year old to think about..... :)
Heard Around Here Lately....
A couple of days ago we were out running errands. I pulled up to the library book dropoff and there was a police car parked in the no parking lane. James, who really likes policemen and fireman right now, yelled out Mamma, there is a cop inside the library!!!!"
I replied, "Yes, I wonder what is going on?"
Very quietly and solemnly James said,
